Uploading a Sequence File

Note: In order for a sequence file to be uploaded from the Structures page or Edit Sequence window, it must have been already imported via the Import Sequence button or Edit Sequence window.

There are two ways to upload a sequence in STNext:

• Clicking the Upload button on the My Files > Structures page

• Clicking the Upload button in the Edit Sequence window

  Note: Any edits you make to the sequence file prior to clicking the Upload button are saved.

  

Important: You must open at least one of the following files before uploading a sequence:

• CAS REGISTRY

• GENESEQ (Derwent Patent Sequence Database)

• PATGENE (WIPO Patent Sequence Database)

• USGENE (US Patent Sequence Database)
